Where to Elope in Spokane Washington | Mountain, Park & City Locations

Eeeeek! I get so excited thinking about all the beautiful spots to elope near Spokane and CDA, because let’s be real- we have some of the most beautiful scenery with dreamy mountains, water access and charming city vibes! One the years I’ve photographed in some pretty rad places locally so I thought I would go ahead and put them all together into a resource for those couples maybe needing some inspiration on where to say “I do”.

Let’s get into it!

1. Mt. Spokane

Perched high in the Selkirk Mountains, Mt. Spokane offers breathtaking views from the Summit Vista House—accessible by car in summer and early fall—or hidden forested paths mid-way up during the quieter seasons. This spot accommodates both winter powder lovers and summer hikers. During Spring and summer you can even catch pretty flowers that are filled along the side of the ski slope! Also you do need a permit to go here which is easy to do! check out this couples photos HERE

2. Tubbs Hill

Right by Coeur d’Alene’s waterfront yet still an outdoor gem, Tubbs Hill offers serene shoreline trails and forested enclaves—perfect for a peaceful, contemplative ceremony. It’s also a relatively easy hike! It can be busy in the summertime but if you’re planning a weekday elopement or something during off season- this is a great spot to get beautiful views while being right in town still! Tubbs hill is also a short drive from Blackwell hotel and other close locations so it’s always a great addition to another spot if you’re up for 2 places!

3. Downtown Coeur d’Alene

With it’s charming old buildings and beautiful lights it creates a truly magical place to go! Especially during winter time it’s got some romantic Christmas vibes if you just walk along the downtown area!

4. Fly the Coop

If you’re looking for something indoors and more modern to elope, Fly the Coop LLC has a beautiful little studio space! It’s also right within walking distance to the Coeur d’Alene city beach. What couples will usually do is do their ceremony in the studio and we still have plenty of time to go on an adventure outdoors so you get the best of both worlds! The studio space also allows some room for a few guests if you plan to have some family there!

5. Farragut State Park

One of my all time favorite spots is Farragut! It offers breathtaking views and trails, so many little spots for privacy and water access! I’ve documented some truly gorgeous couples in this state park.

6. Blackwell Hotel

Last but certainly not least is the romantic Blackwell Hotel. This venue is breathtaking and if you are planning to stay the night in CDA it also has gorgeous rooms to stay in! You can rent just a room or the entire hotel if you want more of an elegant and intimate wedding. It’s moody during the night and beautiful during the day, always one of my favorite spots right downtown!

Nature is right at your doorstep at so many locations within Spokane and CDA or surrounding areas, all you have to do is walk out of a building and go a block for the nearest water source or forrest making this an ideal spot!

Easy Accessibility With an international airport and well-connected roads, Spokane is ideal for out-of-town couples.

Crowd-Free Charm Despite being the second-largest city in WA, its surrounding wilds feel remote and serene!
